TheJoshuaList, a service of Joshua Tree Merchants Inc., provides an online directory of information, ads and related online services pertaining to Christian businesses, organizations, educational institutions, professionals and non-profit organizations (referred to hereafter as "the Service") subject to the following Terms of Use ("TOU"). By using the Service in any way, you are agreeing to comply with the TOU. In addition, you agree to abide by any applicable posted guidelines for all TheJoshuaList services, which may change from time to time. 

Should you object to any term or condition of the TOU, any guidelines, or any subsequent modifications thereto or become dissatisfied with TheJoshuaList in any way, your only recourse is to immediately discontinue use of TheJoshuaList.

TheJoshuaList has the right, but is not obligated, to strictly enforce the TOU through self-help, community moderation, active investigation, litigation and prosecution. However, as a Christian company, operating a service to Christians, our hope is that this will rarely be a necessity.

  1. TheJoshuaList does not accept listings from anonymous parties.
  2. The “Listing Owner” is defined as the person legally responsible for the accuracy on the information in the listing.
  3. Listings require verifiable contact information for the Listing Owner. This information is subject to periodic review. Listing parties who have knowingly misrepresented themselves or their organization will be barred from use of the site.
  4. The Listing Owner is required to specify agreement or disagreement with TheJoshuaList statement of faith. During the listing submission process, a selection of "agree" or "disagree" satisfies this requirement.
  5. The information contained within each listing must be valid at the time the ad is placed. This includes organization name, address, phone number, email address and Listing Owner name. This information is subject to periodic review. At the sole discretion of TheJoshuaList, inappropriate, inaccurate or misleading listings may be removed.
  6. Objectionable listing content is not allowed and includes any of the following: a) Vulgar or obscene language or  imagery, including pornographic material and sexual references; b) Hateful, inflammatory or defamatory comments about an individual or group of individuals including specific nations, cultures, ethnic groups, socio-economic  status; c) Links or references to objectionable content on external sites; d) In general, any material that would be deemed inappropriate, objectionable or offensive to a reasonable person within Christian community;
  7. In the event that an objectionable listing is reported, TheJoshuaList will investigate and will contact Listing Owners with any concerns. At the sole discretion of TheJoshuaList, objectionable listings may be removed.
  8. All listing parties are expected to conduct their business affairs in a Christian manner, as unto the Lord. TheJoshuaList does not “police” business practices or act as an intermediary in customer disputes.
  9. All listings whether paid or free of charge, can be removed at the sole discretion of TheJoshuaList in the event of a violation the stated terms and conditions. Removed listings will not be eligible for a fee refund.
  10. TheJoshuaList makes every effort to enforce site terms of use, but is not responsible for violations, consequences of violation. Likewise, TheJoshuaList can not be held liable for any damages incurred due to misleading or fraudulent representations made by Listing Owners.
